        | The Finance and Administration Division of Nova Central School District is accountable for overseeing the effective and efficient 
            functioning of all financial, administrative, operational, student transportation systems and capital programs within the School 
            District. 
 
 Nova Central School District operates within an annual budget of approximately $136 million, as approved by the Nova Central 
                School Board of Trustees and primarily funded by the Department of Education. This includes:
 
                    SalariesInstructional materials and equipmentStudent transportation Fixed costs such as electricity, fuel, phone service, municipal services fees, etc.Operations and maintenance AdministrationCapital expenditures The majority of students in Nova Central School District ride the bus to school. Student transportation is delivered in 
                accordance with relevant federal and provincial legislation and the Department of Education’s School Bus Transportation Policies 
                and Special Needs Transportation Guidelines.  The district operates its own bussing system and also contracts for bussing with 
                private operators in specific parts of the district.  Contracts are also arranged with private operators for special transportation
                services as required.

 Nova Central School District operates and maintains its buildings in accordance with provincial and municipal legislation 
                and policies.  District staff members oversee the day to day repairs and maintenance of all facilities.
 
 
 Nova Central School District develops, implements and maintains technological resources to support learning, communication 
                and the management of information related to the business of the district.  District staff members oversee the technology 
                infrastructure for schools and worksites.
