The Human Resources Division of Nova Central School District is responsible for the recruitment and hiring of all teaching and support staff. The division’s service goals are to:

• Recruit and retain highly qualified personnel
• Provide equal employment opportunities for all candidates and positions
• Oversee an employee performance appraisal program that contributes to employee growth and satisfaction
• Support professional development and training for all employees.

There are approximately 2400 full-time, part-time and casual staff employed by Nova Central School District. They include:

• Teachers, teaching assistants and student assistants
• Managerial staff
• Support staff such as secretaries and other administrative personnel, bus drivers, mechanics, custodians and maintenance employees.
